If weather appears threatening, every effort will be made to cancel the program at least one half hour before the scheduled starting time. In the case of evening athletic leagues/programs, cancellations will generally not be announced until 3pm.
Cancellations will be posted on the Kearney Park and Recreation Facebook Page and under the Weather Cancellation Information tab on the City of Kearney website.
Youth Sport Associations, not affiliated with KPR, are responsible for announcing their weather cancellations.
