Lilac and Hydrangea Garden

This garden includes many varieties of lilacs and hydrangeas that bloom beautifully throughout the spring and summer. Featured here are 515 shrubs with over 120 species, along with 48 trees to provide shade and protection. Lilacs will begin blooming in the spring and early summer, with the hydrangeas beginning their festival of color in the early fall.

Pollinator Garden

The Pollinator Garden showcases the need for pollinators to beautify and enrich our environment. The plantings of 25 shade trees, 519 shrubs, 1,800 perennials, and over 1,000 annuals will provide a safe habitat for pollinators. This garden blooms throughout the growing season, giving pollinators a variety of plants to nourish them. Along with food and protection for pollinators, this garden also provides a gorgeous walking tour for people to enjoy the beauty of nature.

Nebraska Native Garden

This garden showcases many native or naturalized plants with ties to Nebraska. These plants thrive in a prairie biome, with many providing beautiful flowers. Most of the plants in this garden are low maintenance while providing beautiful summer colors. With several trees, numerous shrubs, and hundreds of perennials, Nebraskans will be proud of the beauty our state possesses.
