Members of University of Nebraska-Kearney’s English Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta, will be hosting a special storytime at Kearney Public Library on Thursday, April 9, 2015. Beginning at 4:00 p.m. the Honor Society members will read from “Rootabaga Stories”, a children's book of short stories by Carl Sandburg. The whimsical stories which often use nonsense language were originally created for Sandburg’s own daughters.
