Looking for something to do while it's cold outside? Try our Winter Reading Challenge. Complete five of the activities for a chance to win one of ten $20 Buffalo Bucks prizes. Buffalo Bucks may be used like a gift card at any business in Kearney or anywhere in Buffalo County. This event is for youth ages 0-18. Youth may complete one challenge sheet during the contest period (December 15 – January 15). Chill Out & Read! forms will be available in the Youth and Teen departments or found on our website. The deadline to return the entry form is 5:00 PM on Saturday, January 15, 2022.
The "Open Book Club" is sponsored by the library and open to anyone ages 18 and over. Meetings are held on the second Monday of every month starting at 6:30 pm. We welcome everyone who is interested! Can't make every meeting? No problem! Come the next time or join our online Goodreads club!
