Enjoy nifty tricks and hare-brained stories with Jay and Leslie! There will be juggling, animal-themed stories, and lots of laughs. There are five 5-minute shows and two ~30 minute shows that you can register to view. With each program you register for, you'll receive an email from library staff with the access information.

This paper crane folding program is based on the nonfiction book "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes." Packets will have origami paper and information on how to fold a crane. We'll also offer an online tutorial video on our website if you'd rather learn by watching or just need a refresher.
Registration is required and each session (Adult and Youth & Teen) is limited to 50 participants. Supply packets may be picked up at the library's front desk or via curbside pickup on or after the listed pickup date. Please return completed origami cranes to the library by July 31. At summer’s end, the cranes will be sent to cancer patients to give them hope.

Celebrate two of the best things in the world: books and food! Create an edible book simply by creating something edible that is somehow book-related. Registration is required and open now for all groups. Registration deadlines vary depending on the age group category. One entry per participant. Entries must be made of at least 95% edible materials and be family-friendly.
Create a beautiful "painting" with stickers! You'll receive two random pictures from collections of masterpieces by famous artists, flowers, birds, boats on the water, and more! All materials are provided in this free event for all ages.

Love to knit, crochet, cross-stitch, or create other fiber arts? This is the group for you! Join us for informal sessions with other creative people to share tips, troubleshoot problems, and learn something new. Drop-in for fun, friends, and fiber! Volunteer coaches for knitting will be available.
Limited to 10 people per room with social distancing and face masks required. Registration is not required.

Beatrice sets out through the lush African jungle to visit her beloved granddad. She carries with her a bunch of beautiful bananas as a special gift for him. But her journey is interrupted as she encounters friendly but mischievous animals. Will Granddad get his beautiful bananas after all? Listen to Miss Shawna read "Beautiful Bananas" by Elizabeth Laird and then create a parrot craft.
Registration is required and is limited to 50 participants. Register by Tuesday, June 29 at 8:00 am. Registrants can pick up craft supplies at the front desk beginning on Tuesday, June 29. Miss Shawna will have a crafternoon video posted on Facebook, our website, and the library's YouTube channel on Tuesday, July 6 at 4:00 pm. You can watch and craft anytime you wish.
