This paper crane folding program is based on the nonfiction book "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes." Packets will have origami paper and information on how to fold a crane. We'll also offer an online tutorial video on our website if you'd rather learn by watching or just need a refresher.
Registration is required and each session (Adult and Youth & Teen) is limited to 50 participants. Supply packets may be picked up at the library's front desk or via curbside pickup on or after the listed pickup date. Please return completed origami cranes to the library by July 31. At summer’s end, the cranes will be sent to cancer patients to give them hope.
Create a beautiful "painting" with stickers! You'll receive two random pictures from collections of masterpieces by famous artists, flowers, birds, boats on the water, and more! All materials are provided in this free event for all ages.
