Looking for a new book or audiobook to cuddle up with or listen to? Check out a mystery book or audiobook, that's wrapped up and tagged with clues, from our 'Blind Date with a Book' display. Take it home, spend some time together, and see how much of a match you are! Bring back your completed 'Rate your Date' card for a chance at awesome prizes! Cards need to be returned by 5:00 pm on Sunday, March 7 to be entered in the drawing for one of four $50 'Date Night' prizes! The drawing will be held on March 8.

Check out the Sweet Reads displays in the Youth and Teen Areas. Pick a book, take it home, and give it a go! Make sure to return your completed ‘Sweet Read’ card on or before 5:00 pm on Sunday, March 7 for a chance to win a $15 Sequel Bookstore gift card and candy! Twenty prizes winners will be randomly selected.

Love to knit, crochet, cross-stitch, or create other fiber arts? This is the group for you! Join us for informal sessions with other creative people to share tips, troubleshoot problems, and learn something new. Drop-in for fun, friends, and fiber! Volunteer coaches for knitting will be available. Limited to 10 people per room with social distancing and face masks required. Registration is not required.

This is a drop-in meeting for people needing genealogical assistance or advice and for those wanting to share new discoveries they've made. A volunteer from the Buffalo County Historical Society and library staff will be on hand to share tips and tricks. We'd love to help you in your quest. What is it about snow globes? They are SO much fun to shake! Using magnetic tins and tiny Styrofoam balls, we will make a snow globe that is perfect to put on the fridge. Limited to 70 participants in Grades K-12. Register by Tuesday, February 9 at 8:00 am. Supplies will be available to pick up at the front desk beginning on Tuesday, February 9. The how-to video will air on Tuesday, February 16 at 4:00 pm on our website, Facebook, and YouTube channel. You can create your project whenever you wish.

The quiz will be available for two hours so don't feel that you have to be ready right at 7 pm. Questions are timed and most are multiple-choice!
