    Each day beginning Wednesday, December 1, and ending Wednesday, December 15, youth are invited to come to the library and find Flurry the Snowman! Flurry will be somewhere different each day in our youth area. Using an entry form from the youth area, list where Flurry is hiding the day of your visit. You will have the chance to win one of our snowman prizes. One entry, per day, per child.

  2. Teen: Ornament Guessing Jar

    Each day beginning Wednesday, December 1, and ending Wednesday, December 15, teens can try to guess the number of ornaments in the guessing jar. We will be giving away five $10 Target gift cards to the closest guesses. One entry, per day, per teen.

    Love to knit, crochet, cross-stitch, or create other fiber arts? This is the group for you! Join us for informal sessions with other creative people to share tips, troubleshoot problems, and learn something new. Drop-in for fun, friends, and fiber! Volunteer coaches for knitting will be available. Registration is not required.

  4. Get Crafty: Rudolph Ornaments

    December 14, 2021, 4:00 PM - 4:45 PM

    Everyone loves Rudolph! Using glitter paper and a wood slice, we will create a super cute ornament for your tree! Once you pick up your kit, you can watch the instructional video to get started. When done, keep the project for yourself or give it as a gift! The library will provide all of the needed supplies except for scissors. Limited to 50 participants age 6-13.

    Explore, create, and learn as you build with our collection of STEM toys, including Snap Circuits, KEVA Planks, Straws and Connectors, Magna-Tiles, and more! What is STEM? STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. There is a push for youth to start learning about STEM early to empower them with skills to succeed and adapt to our increasingly complex and changing technological world. Limited to 25 participants age 5-14. Please register in advance.

    Join us for a hands-on STEM program designed especially for you and your preschooler. Help your child develop important math, science, and learning readiness skills while having fun! An adult caregiver must remain with the participating child. Ages 2-5. Registration required.
