    Pay your overdue fees and help your community at the same time! For each non-perishable food item you bring in, we'll waive $1.00 in library fines from your account. There are a few things you'll want to take note of. 1. the food item you bring in needs to be in good condition and can't be expired and 2. this event doesn't remove the fees associated with interlibrary loans or lost or damaged items.

  2. Writing Workshop with Anne Hillerman

    Anne Hillerman, a New York Times Best Selling author, will lead a writing workshop for aspiring writers and fans of her work. Here is your opportunity to spend the afternoon with a master storyteller on the art of writing. There is a $20 fee for this workshop, with lunch being included. Anne Hillerman continues the Navajo detective stories her father Tony Hillerman made popular. Her debut novel, "Spider Woman’s Daughter," received the Western Writers Spur Award as "best first novel." That book and the novels that followed were all New York Times Best Sellers. Her sixth mystery, "Stargazer," was published in April 2021. When she’s not working, Anne likes to read, cook, ski, and travel. She lives in Santa Fe with frequent trips to the Navajo Nation.
