Looking for something to do while it's cold outside? Try our Winter Reading Challenge. Complete five of the activities for a chance to win one of ten $20 Buffalo Bucks prizes. Buffalo Bucks may be used like a gift card at any business in Kearney or anywhere in Buffalo County. This event is for youth ages 0-18. Youth may complete one challenge sheet during the contest period (January 1-31, 2021). Chill Out & Read! forms will be available in the Youth and Teen departments or found on our website. The deadline to return the entry form is by 5:00 PM on Sunday, January 31, 2021.

Join us for informal sessions with other creative people to share tips, troubleshoot problems, and learn something new. Drop-in for fun, friends, and fiber! Volunteer coaches for knitting will be available. Limited to 10 people per room with social distancing and face masks required. Registration is not required.
