What Holidays affect the residential Sanitation/Refuse Collection Schedule?
The following holidays affect the residential Sanitation/Refuse Collection Schedule by delaying the refuse/trash collection one day. Example, residents normally scheduled for a Monday trash collection will have their trash collected on Tuesday:

New Year’s Day
Martin Luther King Day
Presidents’ Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Veterans’ Day
Thanksgiving, both Thursday and Friday
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Please notice that the City does not take off for Columbus Day OR Arbor Day and the Sanitation/Refuse collection schedule is not changed for these holidays.
