One Author Kearney: Anne Hillerman

Friday, October 15, 2021

Kearney Public Library Foundation and Kearney Public Library proudly present an evening with author Anne Hillerman. Join us for an evening of conversation and readings. A book signing will follow the presentation. Free tickets will be available on September 7 at KPL with a limit of four (4) per person. Anne Hillerman continues the Navajo detective stories her father Tony Hillerman made popular. Her debut novel, "Spider Woman’s Daughter," received the Western Writers Spur Award as "best first novel." That book and the novels that followed were all New York Times Best Sellers. Her sixth mystery, "Stargazer," was published in April 2021. When she’s not working, Anne likes to read, cook, ski, and travel. She lives in Santa Fe with frequent trips to the Navajo Nation.
