Celebrate two of the best things in the world: books and food! What is an edible book you ask? Well, in its simplest equation: SOMETHING EDIBLE + BOOK RELATED = EDIBLE BOOK. We hope you'll take part in our 9^th Annual Festival — one of our library's most beloved events. Get creative and start planning your entry today! For inspiration, check out our Pinterest "Edible Book" board or search online. There are four age categories: 5–8, 9–12, 13–18, and 19+. Registration is required by Monday, June 20 at 8 am. 

Not interested in entering? Please participate by coming to see all the amazing entries and voting for the "People's Choice" awards on June 22 from 1:30–2:00 pm. Winners will be announced at 2:00 pm.

Registration Details:

• Admission and registration are free.
• One entry per participant.
• Entries must be made of at least 95% edible materials and be family-friendly.
• The base size of each entry can be no larger than 20" by 20".
• Entries will not be refrigerated at the library.
• Entries will not be served.
• All entries will be photographed, and (with permission) will appear (with first name and last initial) on the library's Facebook page. 
• Participants need not be present to win.
• Entries must be picked up by 5:30 pm on June 22 or they will be discarded.
