The Kearney Race Series has been developed to encourage and promote personal wellness, active lifestyles and competitive fun!  Based heavily on participation, the Kearney Race Series provides an extra incentive for all ages and abilities to participate in a community race.  It is free to participate, and no extra registration is required. Registration is automatic when participant checks the box to confirm they want to be a part of the Kearney Race Series while registering for races.

The series will include both participation points and placing points. That means that a person need not be fast to qualify for year-end awards. Rather, they must be willing to train and participate in races throughout the season. But placing points are also encouraged for those trying to improve their times.
