Edible Book Festival

This yearly event features art pieces, made out of food, that reflect books or book themes. Think book titles, characters, plots, literary figures, puns on book titles, etc. Within each of the four categories (Ages 5–8, 9–12, 13–18, and 19+) there are three "best in show" awards (chosen by our selected judges). They are "Wittiest/Funniest/Punniest," "Most Creative Use of Ingredients," and "Best Interpretation of a Title."

There is also a "People’s Choice Award" for each category that is determined by the vote of all attendees. Typically this event is held in June or July each year and allows people to enter for a chance to win prizes or simply enjoy seeing other’s creativity.
