  15. Card Crafting: To Go

    Make your own greeting cards with the library! Each month we’ll have a special project all ready to go. Packets may be picked up at the front desk any time after the third Monday of the month. A how-to video will be shared on Facebook and our website on the fourth Wednesday each month. You can create your project whenever you wish. Registration is required and is limited to 30 people. If you are not able to register, feel free to gather supplies and craft along with us! The more the merrier! We’d love to see how your project turns out.     Pay your overdue fees and help your community at the same time! For each non-perishable food item you bring in, we'll waive $1.00 in library fines from your account. There are a few things you'll want to take note of: 1. the food item you bring in needs to be in good condition and can't be expired 2. this event doesn't remove the fees associated with inter-library loan or lost or damaged items

    September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries nationwide join together to remind parents, caregivers and students that signing up for a library card is the first step towards academic achievement and lifelong learning. This September, DC’s Wonder Woman is embarking on a new mission to champion the power of a library card as Library Card Sign-up Month Honorary Chair. NEW CARDHOLDERS: Anyone who signs up for a library card for the first time will get a Wonder Woman sticker and bookmark. LIBRARY CARD BINGO CHALLENGE Pick up a bingo card at the front desk of the library and explore the library. Complete a bingo and return it to be entered into a prize drawing. Two bingo cards per person. This event is for all ages. The prize is a 2017 Wonder Woman DVD. The drawing will take place on Saturday, October 3 around 5:00 pm.
