Study Rooms

Overview

We have three study rooms available during normal library hours that you can use by yourself or with a small group. They provide a quiet atmosphere for studying or discussions. Each room is equipped with a table, chairs (numbering the room’s maximum capacity), several power outlets, and access to our free wireless internet. There is no cost. Due to COVID-19, capacities have been lowered for the study rooms by half. Use by individuals is encouraged

  • Small Study Rooms (2) - maximum of two four people
  • Large Study Room (1) - maximum of four eight people

Reservations and Walk-Ins

  • Reservations may be made up to two weeks in advance. When rooms are not reserved or in use, walk-ins are welcome. Advance reservations do take priority.
  • Limit of two reservations per week (Sunday to Saturday) with a maximum of two hours per day. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of library staff.
  • Reserved rooms will be held 15 minutes beyond the reservation time and then offered to others.
  • You must be 12 years or older to occupy a study room. Those younger than 12 must have someone age 15 or older present in the study rooms at all times during use.
